Hello and Welcome! I’m Corrin and I am a wedding and anniversary photographer based in Northern Virginia! I am so excited that you found me, and because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about me! Here are a few things you should know!
I document love stories for the joyful, crazy in love, laid back couple. I'm a TV series junkie, a taco connoisseur, and a girl that dances in the car to almost every song! Oh yeah, and most importantly, I am a wife to my hunky and fun-loving husband and a dog mom to Lily, the cutest yellow lab out there.
Most days you'll find me on the couch in yoga pants and an oversized t-shirt with a messy bun and my pup in my lap. I live for the small moments, the small gestures, and the small acts of kindness that can completely transform your day. We only have one life, and I believe in making it count, eating brunch as much as humanly possible, and smiling whenever I can. Oh, and I strongly believe in a good nap. Always.
Being a wedding photographer is the best job in the whole world. I get to work with the most fun loving, beautiful, and COOLEST couples who are just as passionate about authentic moments as I am. Working with Corrin was such a great decision. From the first phone call, it was clear that we clicked--she's warm, funny, and so easy to talk with. Our engagement shoot had to be postponed a few times in the summer of 2020 due to COVID and other scheduling issues on our end, but Corrin had the brilliant idea of us doing a "married couple" shoot instead of an engagement shoot after our wedding, which was so relaxing and wonderful! On the day of our wedding, I was very thankful for us to have someone so calming, friendly, and professional to guide our day. Most importantly, our pictures came out so beautifully--they are truly stunning. She's incredibly talented, and just an all-around great human being. You will not regret hiring her!

What's your shooting style?
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the
wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from me!

Do you have a second shooter?
All my collections include a second shooter! This is something I highly recommend and encourage my couples to book because my second shooter is there to capture everything I can’t. They will be with the groomsmen for getting ready while I’m with the bridesmaids, they will be sure to capture the groom’s face up close during the precessional while I’m photographing the bride walking down, and they will be shooting cocktail hour while I’m doing family portraits and bridal party! It’s also an awesome insurance policy knowing you have two people capturing all those important, once in a lifetime moments!!

How many hours do you recommend?
This totally depends on your wedding day, how many locations are involved, and if you want me to capture your exit! I don’t offer anything less than 7 hours because I want to photograph your day the best I can from the beginning to the end. I am there to tell your story and being there from getting ready to the reception is important for me to do that! I would say 7-8 hours is average to ensure I’m there for everything. Full Day Wedding Coverage is for the people who are either doing an afternoon ceremony and still want me there to the end of the night or just want to ensure we have as much time for pictures!

Do you travel for engagement sessions and/or weddings?
Yes, Yes, YES! I am more than willing to travel for any and all shoots! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I've gone everywhere from Hawaii to Ireland!
I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 60 miles of travel are included.
